HAMMERFALL Guitarist: New Single World Premiere 'Went Down A Storm'
November 30, 2004HAMMERFALL guitarist Oscar Dronjak has posted the following message on the group's official web site:
"In addition to the gig in Göteborg on April 30th, we will do one more show in Sweden during the first half of 2005. At the kick-off for Sweden Rock Festival last weekend, it was announced that HAMMERFALL will indeed return to the festival for the first time since 2001! No exact date is set yet, but I, for one, am secretly keeping my fingers crossed it will be on the same day as the other main act confirmed on Friday: ACCEPT!
"Also, a world-premiere screening of our single, 'Blood Bound', was held in front of the 1000 people (capacity) in attendance, and it went down a storm. Those of you who were there know what the song sounds like, the rest of you will have to wait until January to find out."
HAMMERFALL's as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2002's "Crimson Thunder" will be released on March 7 (most of Europe),March 8 (U.S.) and March 9 (Sweden) through Nuclear Blast Records. The "Blood Bound" single will precede the album on January 31. Other tracks set to appear on the CD include "Born to Rule", "Hammer of Justice", "The Templar Flame", "Take the Black", "Fury of the Wild", "Secrets", "Never, Ever", "Imperial" and "Knights of the 21st Century".
